select image problem

| Hi there!
I've a ai.file with a picture of a radio in it. I'd like to make it
transparant, so I'm trying to select it and paste it into photoshop to make
a transparant gif there.
But when I do so, I allways have a white background when I paste it in
photoshop. I'd like to have the picture alone. Does anyone knows how to do
so?

Do you have Illustrator? Save for Web as GIF or ask the one
that sent it.
You can send it to me as long as I am awake.:))

Peter, I really appreciate your help. In the meantime, I tried to do it
myself but I'm really stuck on it.
So I'm afraid I will send you the file :-)) (if you're still awake...)
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried saving the file as an eps and then in photoshop, 'placing'
the file?
