hi guys
What's the best plugin for 3d effects in Illustrator or are there ways of
making 3d text without extras?
I was under the impression that there was a 3d tool from KPT?
Thanks
Tom

the new Illy CS version has a great 3d tool. cvalley.com has a robust plugin also.

hotdoor.com has a few plugins. KPT is a photoshop plugin, as pointed out
a couple of posts back.

I was reading the 'New Masters of Photoshop' last night and one of the
artists mentioned a vector 3d tool for Illustrator that they had used to
create a particular object and then imported into PS. Perhaps it was a typo.
