| Hi there Yitz
Really very nice job!
True what Radman says, looks very traditional american, but appreciate that
in most cases.
The only thing I noticed was that in the picture with the 2 girls, 1 of them
(or perhaps both?) could use a teeth whitening treatment :)
I also thought about the Statue of Liberty. It looks quite a lot green. I
haven't looked for reference material, but it seems it could be desaturated
little.
But once again, very nice!

| The old looking faded edge effect works well on the inside and the flag
but looks akward with the cityscape & green flap. Especially the address
over the cityscape. Just my first thoughts. I didn't know what the faded
edge was implying till I saw the other pages. Better than I could do
though <g>.

Looks good. I agree: very American, lots of flags and the
statue, but appropriate probably in this case? (before you
ask: I am Dutch).
One technical remark: the test on the inside does not
"register" with which I mean: the lines in the first and
second column are not on the same height. Some may find that
picky, I do not, lining it all up makes it much more
peaceful to the eyes.
I realize using the small caps makes that a bit hard, but it
is doable.

| Hej Peter
Now that you mention it.... that's true.
It is quite disturbing.
It should be easy enough to correct though, so please do Yitz.

| I can imagine why it happened, it is probably all made in
Illustrator Yitz? I woud always make the images in
Photoshop/Illustrator and add the text in InDesign or
XPress. Much stronger for text lay out of course. And like I
said the small caps make it somewhat more problematic.
Teenyweeny question.........I see that a lot in the States
(where I am living now). Is that just me? I even want it to
register on both sides of the page, hold it through the
light and the text should be on the same height.

Looks like shit.
Improve it by torching it, or is it illegal to burn the flag?
Death to the christian military.

| The flag's shape looks like it's draped over a coffin, very appropriate
since we're still involved in a war (or whatever Bush calls it now)!
The statue of liberty, alongside kids who look like a bunch of hardy
partiers?
Personally I'd ditch the flag and statue.

| Hey Peter - thanks for mentioning that - yeah the file was made in
Illustrator. I agree that the text should be on the same base line. I'll fix
that.

I don't want it to look like a coffin. :(

www.pushingtheenvelope.ca, considering it's a .ca domain, I'll make the leap
and say the designer is in Canada not the US. Just a small point, may be
picky.

| Thanks - I'll take a look at the teeth and statue colours.

Killfile is a set of rules with which you can avoid seeing
people on usenet you choose not to see.
