| Hi
I'm trying to create a circle that has the external diameter of 20px with a
stroke of 1 px. I notice the stroke is always in the middle of the guideline
(or rather the guideline is in the middle of the stroke). Can I correct a
setting so that it is to the inside of the dbject (in this case a circle) or
do I have to create the circle at 19 px and just have the 2 x 0.5 px make it
up to 20 px.
I know the result is the same either way but I'm just being fussy!
Thanks all
Andy

Not easily. You can stroke it with a stroke of 2 px, copy it, paste it
in front, select both, and do Object->Clip mask->Make.

This is by far the easier solution if your shape is a circle.

| Or, you can remove stroke from original circle, ctrl c to copy, ctrl f to
paste in front, add stroke 4px, remove fill, goto transform pallet and
subtract the amount of stroke 4px from the circle size, say 3.0 -4px press
ctrl and enter. Group them and there you have it.
