1) Get a real domain

2) Drop adverts from the front page, or at least make them less
obtrusive (give the impression that it's a site about John Lennon,
rather than a money-making venture, whatever the truth may be).

3) A photo of John Lennon? Or a scan of an album cover?

4) Move the navigation bar away from the middle, perhaps to the left
and reproduced at the top or bottom of the page.

4) Lose the tacky counter

5) Get some consistency in the appearance. Titles should be large,
bold and at the top! (ref: "John Lennon Songs 1").

Will this keep you going?

The basic idea of the site is a good one.

I would also consider using CSS (there are numerous tutorials on the web
and
plenty of good books) to liven up the links etc as your using plain text
links (good)
