Why photoshop 3.0.5 can't run under Windows XP with 768 MB RAM?
In the past I used this software with 512 MB RAM without any troubles, but when I upgraded the memory from 512 to 768 MB the problem starts.
It shows me the following message :" There is not enough memory (RAM) to launch Photoshop". I found this message very fool because I have a lot of memory in my computer.
¿Does anybody know how to correct this problem?

Thanks

I suspect you can fix the problem by upgrading Photoshop or removing
the extra RAM. You might be able to temporarily disable with
software, but I wouldn't know how.

At a guess, when Photoshop 3 was written, no computer with over 512 MB
of RAM was imagined, so the code was not tested for more. A bug, in
other words. Adobe will not fix bugs in discontinued software, so you
are stuck.
