How do I do this? My backround has gradiant background, I'd like put
border around the image 500px by 500px but want the cormers to be
rounded ?

Thank you for any help or information!

Hi,
There are several ways to do this. If you want a general purpose frame
you can use for other images then you could create a new fill layer;
Layer>new fill layer then use a vector mask to reveal the underlying
image. The vector mask can be created using the rounded rectangle tool
with a paths setting and a radius of however round you want the
corners. You will also need to set the canvas size; Image>canvas
size>relative>1000px.

Good luck,
Ron

I just noticed that you were asking for a PS v5 solution so I have no
way of knowing if what I mentioned will be helpful.
