I just lost the last twelve hours of work. I thought I was working
four levels deep in nested Smart Objects and I was actually working
five. So each time I would back out to do my saves I was would back
out one level too shallow. When it came time to end my session I
closed PS and when prompted to save the outermost layer it looked
exactly like the template I started with so naturally I closed it
without saving. What kills me is that this could have happened anytime
in the last nine days when I was beating my head against the wall
trying to understand transparency and advanced blending and getting
nowhere but this was the twelve hours that was the culmination of all
that work. It will all have to be redone. Not that I blame PS, I am to
blame, but does anyone know of an automated save feature that I am
overlooking or if not maybe a third party plug-in that would do the
saves? As if I will ever let this happen again.

Thanks,
Ron
