Author What happened to the exposure control?

I used to have, under image/adjustments, an exposure control. When I
upgraded my system I reinstalled Photoshop CS. I don't have this control
anymore.
Maybe I installed some plugins along the way and don't have them now, I
can't remember.
Any help appreciated.

Tom

Levels or Curves or brightness
use the little half moon in the palette to make them on their own layers is
a better way

you can also use shadow highlights but use it on a dupe layer it cannot be
reversed

Maybe a third party plugin. It doesn't exist in CS as far as I know.
