Quite sure there will be people finding this interesting;
The past ten days or so Paul Allen's yacht (Microsoft fame and Bill
Gate's colleague) is anchored behind my flat. Today's newspaper gave
some info about it:
built in Germany and completed in 2003
at a cost of more than $200 000 000
a permanent crew of 60 (ex Navy Seals (who serves as bodyguards (!) )
2 helicopters aboard
a mini submarine
remote controlled underwater vehicle which can run on the ocean bottom
a 4 wheel drive vehicle
7 decks
10 luxury lounges
Ultra modern studio for digital recordings
a cinema theatre
a basketball course
and a swimming pool.
Space for about 100 guests is available.
Allen also is the owner of 2 smaller yachts
and he was here with one of them about a year ago
and I took pictures of that one as well.
The Rapport's report about it is at
http://home.intekom.com/davesplace/rapport.jpg
and I took this photo of the Octopus
http://home.intekom.com/davesplace/octopus.jpg
from my flat.

Ah, nice shot.
Very rigid, sharp and tech looking piece of machinery. The refinery is the
perfect backdrop for it.
I wonder what Jobs does with his leisure time? (No, I don't really care what
any of them do with their time.)

yep, wonder how it feel never to wonder if you can afford something,
but only if you should buy only one dozen of it, or more:-)

Well, you might end up unable to appreciate or value things for what they
are instead of for their price tag. But then, we'd probably all risk that
possibility and give being monitarily rich a shot;¬)
