Photoshop ignores vendor exif information

| Hi
When I crop a Canon Ixus v2 photo and save it (Ctr+S), Photoshop CS only
keeps standard exif information. It erases all exif information specific to
Canon. So I need to use another tools (ExifUtils) in order to rewrite the
complet exif information.
Is it possible to prevent Photoshop from deleting vendor exif information?
Thanks

Yes, when you save the file, PS does not save the EXIF data. Adobe would be
the only one who could change this behavior because it is their code which
does not write vendor specific EXIF data. As every save creates a brand ned
file, the OS deletes the entire old file.
