Author Action Involving Longest Side?

I've created an Action that involves expanding the canvas by a fixed
percentage of the longest side of the image. The images to be
processed are of varying dimensions and some are longest on the
horizontal side while the others are longest on the vertical side. I
currently have the action pause during the resizing so that I can
manually indicated whether to use the horizontal or vertical
dimension as the basis for the percentage canvas expansion. This is
not very satisfactory. Is there a way to fully automate the action
and always have the canvas expansion be based on a percentage of the
longest side of the image, regardless of whether it's a vertical or
horizontal image?

Hi there,

I have uploaded a set of scripts to the adobe studio exchange which
will resize images in proportion to their long or short sides.

http://share.studio.adobe.com/axBrowseSubmit.asp?t=74

Look for scripts with my name on them.

Hope this helps.
