Hi there,

If you're using CS2, you can create an action which will fit the image
on screen, and then use the Scripts Event Manager to run the Action
each time an image is opened.

Hope this helps.

I created the action (one step - insert menu item - view>fit to screen) and
then the script event, and what happens is that it first still opens an
image in a smaller window (e.g. 12.5%) and then it re-opens it in the 'fit
to screen' size.

Hi Franko,

I'm not sure I follow what you are saying.

Is it that you are getting the image opened twice. Once at 12.5% and
once as Fit-to-Screen. Do you now have to images open?

I have the same one line action on my system, and I only get a single
image opening to fit-on-screen size.

The way the script events manager should work, is that when any image
is opened, it will open in the way that PSCS2 would normally open it,
and then in runs the action to change the zoom level so that it fills
the available work area. So you will briefly see the image at 12.5%
and it should be re-zoomed to fill the work area. The work area will
depend on what windows and pallets you have open at the time.

Hope this helps.

only one image is open in the end, so maybe it's what you describe as " you
will briefly see the image at 12.5%and it should be re-zoomed to fill the
work area".
it appeared to me as though it was opening it twice
