Hi ! Everytime i run CS2, it creates a directory named UPDATER in C:\My
Documents\My Images !

I don't need it neither WANT it !

Is there a way to force CS2 NOT to create this directory ?

You could try modifying the file AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat - search for it - but
I'm not saying that will work or that Photoshop or your computer will work
afterwards.

See this: http://elearning.winona.edu/jjs/here.gif

Go to the HELP menu, take UPDATE and after it attempts to do the update,
change the PREFERENCES as shown above. No need to hack anything. It's all
there under good old HELP.

OR if you don't want to fire up PhotoShop, then go to the folder C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater\

and double-click on AdobeUpdate.exe

(It's not in the PATH so you can't invoke it from anywhere else.)
