I have created a website layout and set the slices, when I slice the images,
the quality suffers, even if I untick the "optimized box", is it possible
for me to have the images as crisp as they look as a PSD file?

I have uploaded two of the sliced images so you can see what I am talking
about.

On the banner, you will see above the telephone number, the quality suffers
greatly, what is the reason for this and how can I fix this?

Thanks - John

Fix the colors so they save properly in a 256-color format and use .GIF
format.

Doesn't look that bad from here.

For starters, if you untick "optimized," the quality goes down for a
given file size.

But the whole point of hte Web is that you use "lossy" compression--the
quality of your images on the Web is not as good as a .psd, but the file
size is smaller.

If you want greater quality, make different choices in the "Optimize"
palette in ImageReady, or different settings in the Save for Web command
in Photoshop. Remember, more quality means bigger file size.
