Might be easier to just open them in PSP and convert to tiff files
first ...

|
| I just have a Mac... So I can't install PSPro.
And copy then paste is not possible too.
(It's about 400 files on CD!).

Hi Pierre,
There's a plugin that will allow Photoshop to open Paint Shop Pro files
(the plugin comes in both mac and pc versions), located here:
http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/
One caveat: It works, but will only open one layer (if the file is
layered, it gives you a choice which layer to open, if I remember
correctly....I haven't used it in a while)

That's a limitation of the plugin interface. Yes, the plugin does let
you choose which layer.
