Author CS2 Trial and PS 7

I have PS 7.
I have a time limited trial of CS2 from a magazine. Do I have to uninstall
PS7 to use CS2?
Can they both run together?
If I then uninstall CS2 at the end of its time and don't upgrade, will I
lose my prefernces in PS7 and will anything else have been changed?

Many thanks

Bobby E

BUT (and this is quite important) as one sad visitor here learned

DO NOT SAVE IN THE NEW CS2 format or you will NOT be able to open the files
in version 7 after the trial time is up.
And reinstalling the trial does not work, it remembers the date in an
inaccessible part of your hard drive.

ALSO FYI:
If you use CS or CS 2 and un install version 7 or earlier, the new versions
no longer create PSD thumbnails in Windows Explorer.

Many thanks

I'll give it a whirl

No.

Try the Shadow and Highlights feature in CS2. Also, the Bridge program
and RAW.

Best,

Conrad

And after you've got bored waiting for Bridge to load or actually do
anything, and have seen RAW, download RawShooter Essentials or Capture
One and use that instead. :)
