Make a copyright brush. Start with a transparent canvas. Using the type tool
, hold down the Alt Key and type 0169 on the number keypad. This will give
you the © symbol as shown. Then continue by typing the year. Save it as a
brush ... Edit > Define Brush. The next time you want to use it your brush
will be the last one. Open an image and make a transparent layer above layer
zero. Make sure your foreground color is a contrast to your image. Make your
brush the right size. Click it once on your image. Once done you can add a
style if you like.

I always just saved the type on a transparent layer in PSD format and
dragged it onto my images but this is much simpler, Thanks.

PS don't forget to select the type first or the options for define brush are
greyed out.

Please ignore!

I already found the way to do it!

Photoshop 5.0 ? That is 4 versions ago ! If you consider a new version
every 1½ years , your version is about 6 or 7 years old or more. I'd suggest
that you buy the upgrade as soon as possible. Then suggestions from people
using CS or CS2 will make sense. For me , version 7 is a distant memory.

I can't afford to buy new versions!
Most of what I want to do, can be done with this version.
