Hi PhotoShop gurus!

I post here because i know that there are people than can make what I
need in minutes and, if I do that, I need days.

I am the WebMaster of the site http://www.irrigacion.gov.ar (site
header...)

As you can see, i put "autumnal leaves" there (here and now, in
Mendoza, Argentina, is autumn).

Well.... now came winter... Can you make a winter change to this image
(http://www.irrigacion.gov.ar/desarrollo/site_header.jpg) and send me
to webmaster@irrigacion.gov.ar?

Thank you in advance... and you know.. your piece of art can be in the
Net.

Oh wow.

And I'm sure it was only an oversight that you didn't include your fee
for the job....

As one who has battled the plethora of forms, certifications,
background checks, financial reviews, references, budgets, statements
of work and general red tape involved with performing work on behalf
of the U.S. government, it's refreshing to see how the government
works in Argentina. Just pop on to Usenet and ask for free work from
anyone willing to do it. Now there's government efficiency!

How does one get a paid 'webmaster" job without being able to make even
simple graphics?

Find yourself some snowflake clipart to replace the blurry leaves.

Perhaps he works for free and that's why he expects others to do the
same?

Anyway, I work with a lot of webmasters who don't do graphics. That's
what graphic artists are for. ;-)

Very true. As I see it webmasters are basically site admins responsible for
the working and maintenance of a site; nothing to do with design. But, many
of them front themselves as also being web "designers" when they are not.
However, if his site maintenance responsibilities include image
changes/updates/etc., then he needs to learn to perform the tasks he's
committed to performing.

The simplest, unobtrusive clipart is his easiest cure; can probably find it
free. Winter/snowflakes, Spring/flowers, Summer/butterflies, suns, whatever,
Autumn/leaves... or whatever is applicable and simple for the site's region.
