I thought that i had read that Photoshop CS would open RAW files taken with
the Fuji S5600 camera (.RAF files). However, this is not the case. Can
anyone please let me know if i have to download a plug-in and if so, where i
get it from. I have searched Google and Adobe's website with no luck

Windows XP Pro (SP1), 620RAM, Adobe Photoshop CS Version 8.0.

Many Thanks
Andrew

Here's a list of the cameras supported with the CS2 version, I don't
think yours is on it so you may be out of luck ... CS supports even
fewer models ... http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html

The only news I have is that some time ago Thomas Knoll was seeking
images from the S5600 to enable it to be supported, and then on 13th
December he said he didn't need any more sample files. (From the Adobe
forums). It is a safe guess that it will appear in a future version.

Its RAF files won't be supported directly in CS. Instead, it is
expected that it will be possible to convert them to DNG and the DNGs
will be supported by CS.

Cheers Barry. Let's hope so ! - it's such a nice camera and shooting in RAW
mode is far better than JPEG, i can live with the increased file size. I
still get around 45 on a 512mb card, so not too bad !!

Cheers
Andy
