Do you know tools or something else that can create an effect witch imitate
film grain from real films (Tri-X, Ilford HP ...) ?
Thanks

Add new layer
Fill with black
Change mode to Overlay
Filter/Noise/Add Noise

Experiment with the Layer blending mode, fill color and opacity.

Hope this helps :-)

shoot with your digital on 800 ISO, that gives noise similar to very pushed
film

Get hold of and install virtualPhotographer, from
http://www.optikvervelabs.com/download.asp . It's free and will run with full
PS and PE2 & PE3.

It does lots of other things, too.

I second Virtual Photographer. Just use its 800 ASA film setting and away
you go. It does many other dandy things too; it is a fun gadget. As stated,
it is free.

Since it is a standard PS plug-in, it'll run with anything that supports
such. I've also used it in PhotoDraw, Photo-Paint, etc.

Download Picasa2. It is free. Has a 1 click to add film grain plus a lot of
other good things. WW
