Photoshop Elements Browser Problem

I use Photoshop Elements and often use the browse option when adjusting my
digital pictures. I always have the browser full screen so I can see all my
pictures but when I choose one to edit, the screen size reverts back to a
smaller screen. Is there a way to maintain the size of the browser screen
while I'm working on pictures. It's not a real big deal--just annoying that I
have to keep adjusting the size of the screen.
