I need to know how exactly is the background infromation stored in a
png file.
Is it jst one chunk (bKGD) that contains a specific background value
that is replicated or used for all the pixels alike in a given image.
Or does the chunk(bKGD) repeat after every pixel to indicate that
pixel background info!!(if that was the case then the image size would
be very large wouldnt it??)
could you please explain this matter in detail.

Thank you
CB
