Author Question about Pricing
Brooklyn NYC

Hello All:

I have someone that would like me to do a business card design for them.
However, I usually do large graphics - billboards, movie posters, etc and
don't know what the average rate is for a business card.

Can anyone give me an idea of what they would normally charge for a card
design?

Thanks for the help!

Well, take the square area of the final billboard and divide it by the
square area of a biz card. There ya go. (Are you serious that you use PS for
billboard graphics?)

That doesn't really work since I work for a media company and we design
billboards and movie posters. I don't do freelance work. I don't know what
corporate contracts for a billboard or poster. Never thought about it.

Yep, use PS and Illustrator for billboards. I work in pieces so it's easier
on the ram.
