I know this has been answered before on these forums but could someone
tell me how to open Nikon .NEF files in Photoshop CS with the CS dialog
box. Thanks

From File Browser just double click on the .nef file to open up the RAW
converter (assuming your Nikon camera is supported).

Thanks for the response but I have no problem opening the file in CS but
it opens in a small dialoge box with limited adjustments, where as the
regular CS dialoge box has many more adjustments you can make before
opening the file in Photoshop. My camera is a 5700 which the new Raw
update supports.

Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Plug-Ins\Adobe Photoshop Only\File
Formats and delete or rename the Nikon files.

Remove the Nikon plugins - they're overriding the Adobe plugin.
