Hello,

I'm getting closer to the PhotoShop world and I'm planning to buy the book
"PhotoShop Artistry".
I've been looking at it (Version 5.5) at the library and it looks very good.
The problem is that 5.5 is out of date so I would like your suggestion about
the following:
* do the new Artistry book versions include all that has been written in 5.5
or they are just upgraded version?
* are the following releases as good as 5.5?
* which version would you suggest me to buy? (I don't have any PhotoShop
book)

Thank you very much for your help!

Cheers,
Anna Maria

Thanks to you both.
I'll keep in mind your suggestion.

Cheers,

Hallo Anna Maria

I bought 'Photoshop CS for Windows and Mac' by Robert Shufflebotham.
This is part of the 'In Easy Steps' the Leading Computer Book Series
Printed and Bound in the United Kingdom.
I also buy the Adobe Photoshop Focus Guide from our local bookshop
monthly, and find this two very good entry guides.
Then, I pick leads up from alt.graphics.photoshop, and am still a
newbie, but do know much more than only three weeks back:-)
