RGB image from separate greyscale channel images?
|
|

| Hi,
I have a question which probably has an easy and straightforward
answer...? Anyway:
I have three separate greyscale images, each taken in different
wavelengths (red, green and blue). Now, how do I transfer those
images into the R, G and B _channels_ in an RGB image? In other
words, how do I make a "real-color" image from these three
separate grey images? :/

Easy way: Create a new RGB image of the same pixel dimension. Copy each
grayscale image and paste it into the appropriate channel of the new RGB image.
Easier way: Use the "Merge Channels" command from the Channels palette flyout
menu.

If the images are the exact same pixel dimensions, with all three open
choose Merge Channels from the flyout in the Channels palette.
