Copying DESCRIPT.ION files in Acdsee

I use old versions of Acdsee such as versions 2.43, 3.11 and 4.0.
The later version ones seem a bit bloated for me.

Is there a third party utility which would allow me to move and add
files from one folder to another?

At the same time I want to preserve the relevant entries in the
DESCRIPT.ION files.

For example I would like to add files from:

FOLDER 1 to FOLDER A
FOLDER 2 to FOLDER B
FOLDER 3 to FOLDER C
ETC

and keep all DESCRIPT.ION entries.

If possible I would like to do this in a batch task in the background
with no intervention from me.
