| i was printing from corel draw and changed my vetor art into a bitmap
but when i printed it the black was a green colour. How do I stop this
or how do I change it back to black

| A few questions:
What version of Draw are you using?
What printer are you using?
How did you change it to a bitmap and to what color space (RGB, CMYK)?
Did it print black when it was still vector?

also, using an eyedropper, what are the color values of the black for the
vector and the bitmap? Are they the same?

My question is " Why did you change it to a bitmap if ur just gonna
print it?"
Leave it a vector...

corel graphics x3
a roland sc540
I went to the change to a bitmap option in the tool bar and usually
cmyk
and yes the vector stay's the original colour
I think they are different in the eyedropper, but thats the problem
how to get back to the original colour

basically the files are giant and to save space for my little computer
to even print I have to cut down the information

Usually the vector file will be physically smaller than the bitmap version.
*However*, if it's a complex file (i.e., lots of nodes in the objects and/or
a good number of gradient fills) it can be "smaller" when printing if it's
flattened to a bitmap. Can you post a sample of what you're working with?

| The only thing I can think of is that when you used Convert to Bitmap,
"Apply ICC profile" was checked which would alter colors in the file. An
alternative would be to select "Rasterize entire page" on the Misc. tab of
the Print dialogue box. Not sure how that would affect performance vs. what
you did.

My little Canon ip4000 stops line-drawing just past five or six thousand
nodes...<g>
