I have a problem with the CE version of the Nimbus SemiBold font in
Corel X3
text written with this font is not shown ... (hidden) but when i
double click and enter edit mode it highlights the words....
ps... i'm running win xpx64

| Maybe you set the default fill to white? Does the outline show in wireframe
view? Does it do it with other fonts?

This is indicative of having two formats of a single font style installed
(e.g., the Type1 version of CaslonOldFace Hvy BT, /and/ the OpenType version
of CaslonOldFace Hvy BT).
Now, I have had problems with pre-SP1 versions (back with v.10 or v.11, IIRC)
where some or all Objects would 'dis-appear', but still be editable . . . I've
not experienced that with X3.

Cool. I'm using Vista Business x64.
It's not perfect, but it's been treating me a whole heck of a lot better than
XPx64 was (when I did use it).
Still, X3 rocks . . . let us know how you fare.

| sometimes you get font problems if you have twofonts with the same name but
different formats activated - like true type and type 1
