| Experience with godaddy.com
I used to have 4 domains registered with them and about a month ago I
sold three of them. I was with them for over 4 years. Now for my last
domain name I had to create a new account and before that domain was
due I tried to switched to a new registrar (cheaper) and godaddy.com
won't let me do that. Their point is that they're preventing domain
theft and therefore I must wait (=pay them!) 60 more days. Well, I will
not! In my opinion it is absolutely unfair practice to the customers
like me who were with them for such long time and now when I decided to
switch to a new registrar they making problems.
Another thing is so called "web page parking". I had one domain
with them "parked", and the way they displayed it just made me mad.
My domain name was shown in a little font somewhere and hard to find on
that web page, but godaddy's advertising was all over that page. I
paid for that domain name and even one page to "scarifies" for
them was really, really hard. Greedy and absolutely lousy service.

Sorry to hear the bad news. But I am glad you didn't post your domain
url, since they would have claimed this as spam, and imposed their
money making venture of about $200/domain/spam complaint fine. You
are guilty till proven innocent.
