| A client would like me to set up a system in which he can input a daily
stock market analysis and make it available to his membership. A
previous webmaster (not me) created an .htm file for every day of the
week and inserted the the text provided by the client. An example of the
htm file created by the previous webmaster can be seen at
http://www.beatthedart.com/archive/03_30_07.htm
I told the client that unlike the previous webmaster, I'm not about to
create a daily .htm in which I insert the data for the client. The idea
is to set up a system and let the client input the data. So far, I have
looked at a CMS like Mambo to accomplish the objective.
Is this the way to go or is there some other approach that would get the
job done? Hosting System has Apache with Cpanel and normal Fantastico apps.

I wouldn't even bother with a CMS for something this easy. Just a
little PHP code an mysql would easily do it.

Fine if one is well versed in PHP and mysql but I am not. I'm looking
for a simple package that I can tweak.

Then I suggest you learn and/or find someone else to do it.
Webmstering is a lot more than applying templates and filling in the
blanks in cms's.
