Did you try looking through this group's archives, or the FAQs (posted

Please don't.

Thanks to all who responded! I've added the favicon to my first site and
it's working in IE, but not in Firefox, but I'll give it some time.
Sorry about not searching the newsgroup archives, but I'm using Outlook
Express as my newsreader. Sorry to offend some of you with my use of yet
another flawed MS product. Please give me credit however, since I think
most computer users these days do not even know of the existence of Usenet
groups!

How does that stop you from looking in the Usenet archive at Google?

Time will not help. If it is not working in Firefox, you've made an
error, as a properly formed and named icon should show up as soon as you
access the page. What is the URL?

Not sure what you did. I use the link I gave you and all my favicons
work in all browsers.

I went back and added a different line of code, and it appeared. Thanks
again.
