Cool. But, how about CSV format so that people can import it into
their own prefered system? And can you give an indication of the
quantity of records?

Ah yeah, it is spam alright. Of course long time readers of this
newsgroup will know that Matt doesn't consider posts such as the OP to
be spam and this is probably just his way of making that point.

However, someone who is really anal-retentive about advertising in AWW
could also argue that rather than using Matt's reply as an opportunity
to post another url to your site, you should have just posted the
important quote:

"Under no circumstances will I ever purchase anything offered to me as
the result of an unsolicited e-mail message. Nor will I forward chain
letters, petitions, mass mailings, or virus warnings to large numbers of
others. This is my contribution to the survival of the online
community." - Roger Ebert"

And this other quote on your site illustrates how naive Ebert's Pledge
is:

"It would be nice if nobody ever bought things from spammers -- but you
have to figure if people are going to buy actual medications from random
strangers who send semi-literate e-mail, this speaks to a level of
stupidity so profound that it's difficult to imagine eradicating it."
Mitch Wagner, InternetWeek.com Editor, March 1 2004

I've always thought it was a little unseemly to post one's url in any
discussion about unsolicited advertising--even as part of a sig. I think
it sends the wrong message; i.e. that the regulars in this group assume
priviledges for themselves that are not available to others.

I remember the quote. It struck me at the time that the incredible
stupidity is not the purchase of such medications but - should they
ever actually arrive - actually _taking_ them.

Or to put it more succinctly and as a general rule; one can never
overestimate the level of stupidity to be found among some members of
the public that can be mined for profit.
