| http://www.real.com/ (for me at least) redirects to
http://uk.real.com/home/?&src=ZG.uk.idx
Compare to http://www.real.com/linux
Back to the home page, try clicking on a few of the menu options on the
"tab bar" near the top.
Every page on their website seems to have a completely different
navigation system and various different looks and feels are used.
It's a complete nightmare to navigate!
Try finding your way to the Linux download page from the home page. The
closest I could get was via "System requirements" link to "Click here for
previous player versions" which has a link through to RealPlayer 8 for
Linux. (The current release for Linux is 10.)

Far out. www.real.com takes me to www.real.com as expected, and at the
bottom of the home page is a clear "Linux/Unix Player" link. *shrugs*
Opera on Mandriva here, btw.

That's odd. I too use Opera on Mandriva. I assume they just redirect IP
addresses they deem as being "probably in the UK" to that rubbish page.

I get exactly the as you, except I get redirected to the dutch variant.
Indeed close to impossible [*] to find version 10 for Linux there.
[*] "close to impossible": I haven't found it, someone else might.
