Embed YouTube Videos into Webpages Using a Generic, Configurable Video Player

YouRipper (100% FREEWARE) is a small application which enables the
end-user to rip and
download movies from the popular video download sites, YouTube, Google
Video etc.

Exclusively, YouRipper is the only application or service of its kind
which can obtain the actual location of videos hosted on YouTube.
Armed with this information, the new Embed Video feature in version 2.3

means that, webmasters, bloggers and MySpace hosts can now embed videos

into their webpages using a fully configurable, unbranded, generic
video player, instead of the clunky ones usually offered by the the
video sites.

YouRipper does everything.....Just input the url of the page containing

the video (eg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH8cS1AkqiI) you want to
embed into your own pages. Configure the video player (colors, size,
pics, links etc) and YouRipper will produce the
HTML or Javascript needed to embed this video. All the end user has to

do is Paste the code into their webpage. Bingo, one embedded video and

no mention of YouTube, Google Video or whoever.

With YouRipper 2.3 you can even create playlists of videos....which can

all be viewed in the same video player.

piece of freeware I've written spam? I didn't cross post - I made a
similar posting to the above in the Freeware news-group (where I am
well known), but that's it. I make no money from youripper
what-so-ever...indeed it costs me in excess of $300 per month for
hosting and bandwidth charges. YouRipper has No Spyware, No Adware and
No Malware....there are no advertisements and no registration.

In making the above above post, I genuinely believed that the new Embed
feature in YouRipper would be interesting to webmasters who emed videos
from YouTube etc. Then I get this moron emailing me that I'm a
spammer....and that my software encourages people to 'steal' bandwidth
from Google....what a tosser you are Viper.

In defense of Viper (I can't believe I'm actually doing this):

Robert - with all due respect - poking your bullhorn into a newsgroup
where you are not a regular contributor and touting the merits of a piece
of freeware with a link to your site could (and should) be construed by
many as spam. In fact, that was *my* first impression.

Snake Boy, whose intellect is implied by his name, is a rabid spam nazi.
You should not be surprised that he has bitten your trousers.

Also, since I find that <embed> works just fine for me and 'bulk
ripping' probably would never happen, your piece of freeware would likely
just sit on my hard drive taking up space. Try writing an app that would
really prove useful, eg; one that could replicate a cup of Earl Grey,
hot.
