I am an amataur self teaching Webmaster.
I was on here a few months ago and asked about getting into webbuilding
and you all were very helpful.
So I finally after two months of study of basic HTML, and I built a
website with a little help.
I need some critics about the design and presentation of the site.
Heres the link. www.angelfire.com/planet/chuckienarn/.
I did use an HTML Generator just because I am still haveing a hard time
with css.
Thanks I need all the help I can get.

Your page causes FireFox to crash... so I didn't get to look.

Theres a lot wrong, but as its you're first site I wont be too anal. What i
will say is take the time now to learn CSS for layout. There really is no
need to use tables for layout.
When you're ready to launch your hopefully css based site, consider paid
hosting, it will only cost you around $3 a month and you'll proberbly get a
domain name thrown in for that as well.

Theres lots of good sites for help with css and html and you can always ask
a question in this NG if you get stuck.

Good luck

Lucky you!

It's another pious religious site run by an illiterate psychotic.

I cant understand why these peope don't just:

a) Shut up and die (that would do the world a favour)

or

b) Get all the help they need from their omnipotent, all-fantastic
"god"

But heck, I'm not really strongly anti-organised religion <g>

So how do I change that so that it does not happen?

First of all, get rid of the Java applet on the main screen. It takes a
while to download and start up (especially on a dial-up line) and by
that time you've already lost your audience.

If you must have it, put it on another page - but not you entry page.

It might also fix the FF issue (although I didn't get it on my copy of FF).
