That's what I thought.

Getting them to answer *any* email or ticket will be a miricle.

Never thought that at the time.

Can they legally do that ?

They better not or they will have my lawyer onto them.

I have HELM.
My friend who is hosting, did some sort of transer with godaddy, but
as she is not back yet, I do not know the latest news on it.

Whois has this :
Registrant ID: GODA-0808580

Which looks like something has happened, but still lists :
Sponsoring Registrar: WILD WEST DOMAINS, INC

I don't know for sure, but I think my friend is doing that. I wish she
would get back off her holidays <G>

Got one site on a new server, just waiting for the DNS etc to be done.

Thank you for you help.

That's another problem. I cannot send or receive emails from either
site. So I cannot confirm that I run the sites. [I own one and run the
other]

Even the 1planhost site now says : "Temporary site maintance. Please
bare with us"

Depending where you are, my sites are either up and running, or not.
I see that they are online, but others see that they down.

Whois says error 500

I know, just looked after I sent my last message. And 1planhost are
*impossible* to contact, or get a reply from.

My friend did something with godaddy, but still hasn't returned from
her holiday [24 hours late]

I will look a bit of a prat if I contact WWD and something has already
been started. I did get forwarded a Transfer Acknowledgement letter.

I could upload something to the site to prove I have control over the
sites. Or they could ring the numbers on whois and talk to my family.
[I am not presntly there with them]

My friend has put in a transer with godaddy, but I have no idea what
is the latest news cos she's not back.

Yes I will have to have a finger in the pie somewhere, but she knows
all this backend stuff and transfering things etc.

Exactly, which is why I originally thought that I *had* to contact the
hosting company.

It has. Thank you

Thats could be a problem. I am in the UK atm and the site and address
is in the USA. My wife recently moved a few months back so doesn't
show the correct address. Although the phone number is still correct.

Again, could be costly from the UK - and hardy gives them confidence
that I am the owner.

That could take time with going to and fro the pond.

Thank you.

>(Great looking site, btw)

Thank you very much.
