My second account with my host has mysql 5.x and oe of the things I'd like
to experiment with are foreign keys. My question is this:

Does anyone have any info on the advantages & disadvantages of INNODB vs.
MYISAM storage engines?

Hi, Karl,

One of the advantages is MYISAM doesn't enforce foreign key constraints.
INNODB does.

You can see more specifics on MYISAM at
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0...age-engine.html

and INNODB at
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/innodb.html
