It's an old old song. Do a web search on the phrase 'I'll gladly pay you
tomorrow for a hamburger today'

If you want a loan, see a bank. I'm not into making loans and I don't
need my name on your site.

I work for cash/check down payment and payment in full upon completion.
You get the site when it's paid for.

Good luck trying to market a site with no page text.

Are you sure you know what you "need" ?

It would be a lot easier to take your site offline (I got a blank screen
and a "get Flash" link).

> I would be obliged to take you as a web master and pay you

Interesting concept, someone does work for you, and you pay them, I could
see that catching on.

Try it with JavaScript disabled. Just a lovely black page of nothing.

Very, true which raises another question (at lest in the USA) the new
banking rules allow checks to be process in a virtual mode i.e. no hard
copy, and that can be done at the POP. But ... according to my banks (there
are several) the maker of the check now has up to 10 working days to reverse
the process. The only notice I would receive is an after the fact hole in
my bank balance and no recourse.

Thanks ever so much for that link. I had a lot of the original 'frames'
from many of the old strips (Pogo, Lil' Abner, Popeye, etc.) at our place on
the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A thirty foot tidal surge took them all away.

Don't know what tickled me more Wimpy or Pogo and his 'We have met the enemy

Let's see....spend 50 - 100 hours designing a high end Flash Site site
and get paid only if your company turns a profit. I think I'll pass.

Why would do you want a Flash website? They are not well liked my
search engines, though they may look cool, rankings are not very good
(typically). If you could be convinced to uses a normal, easy to find,
website, then we might could talk. I am currently working on my own
site, but I do have a small temprorary site up now.

I've heard that before....Once bitten, twice shy.....

No need.....If I was designing your site, I could just put my name up there
myself....
If the site doesn't yet exist, how do you know it will get many
visitors?....

With no firm promise or date of payment?.....

That really doesn't sound like a very attractive deal.....

3.5 minutes and it finally loaded....
Then I clicked on a link, and got another "Page loading" scrollbar.....I'm
off to boil an egg and make a cup of tea....It should be just about loaded
by the time I'm finished....

It took me 6 minutes from the moment I clicked on that link to find out what
the website was all about.....

That's outrageous......

Can't you see the madness of that situation?.....In online sales you have
say 10, maybe 20 seconds if you're lucky to imprint your brand and your line
of business on new customers.....

If you are seriously planning on having a site similar to this one, I hope
you're ready to invest a lot of money in a high profile advertising and
publicity campaign.....
That's the only way you're going to build brand awareness and retain
customers......
