New design for prospex.org.uk
|
|
|
| Hi again,
After my last post, I've had a go at a redesign. I've changed the
colours around, changed the font (so that the browser can adjust the
size) and got rid of the javascript navigation. The new design is only
the front page at the moment:
www.prospex.org.uk/new
and if you'd like to compare, the old one is still at:
www.prospex.org.uk
I would appreciate your thoughts on the new design. Thank you!

Hi,
Heaps better in both mark up and design in my view. IMO the tops of the
navigation and content divs should be level. Other than that looks good!

I find the white menu text on the orange background a little hard to
read where I am right now (badly lit office). Also the text under the
logo in the top left is really much to small.
The layout is good tho.

I've moved the content div up to the top so it's inline.
I've change the link text from #EEE to #FFF, not sure if that makes it
better worse! Is there a different colour that people think could go
there?
Thanks
Alex

When I visit, all I get is:
Error 403: Forbidden!
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it.
Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated.

| Oh dear! Don't know what happened there!
In the mean time you can go to:
www.prospex.org/new
instead!

I like the layout, but the background's too dark to give good contrast
for reading. I'd suggest making it a few shades lighter, so that
those of us with middle-aged eyes can read it more easily.
