| Is there such a thing as free domain registration? I only want a domain
and not webhosting.

Not unless you buy something else. So it's never really free.

"To be eligible for FREE domain names you must sign-up for one of our Linux web
hosting packages."
So it's not free, is it.
Quit spamming your site. It doesn't work in this group.

Sure there is... but if you want to move it someplace sometime or when it
comes around to renewal time, then it might get scary.

Obviously not. Nothing in capitalist society is free, well some might
argue that air is, but one still gets taxed just for existing.
However, in the UK freenetname.co.uk offer a free domain name and
hosting, in return for using their local-call rate dial-up internet
service at least once every calendar month. It's not "free" free, but
it's pretty close, if this helps at all.
No, I don't have any financial interest in the company cited.
