Lunarpages sites down?

| Anyone else having problems with lunarpages websites today? My site
has been down since about 2pm central time is when I first noticed the
issue.

| Yeah it's been down for a while. The traceroute is improving now (it
used to stop at eqix-peer.iad01.mzima.net but now I make it all the way
to what must be the CPE for Lunarpages
ge2-lunarpages.cust.lax02.mzima.net. Their DNS servers are still
unreachable. Kind of makes you wonder what the point of having two DNS
servers is if they are in the same building.

| Yes, Lunarpages is having some major problems. It's not clear yet
whether the problem is within Lunarpages' network, or if it is an
outside network provider. Lots of chatter over at

So much for a "no single point of failure network", I think perhaps
the US military are relieved they never had to use the network under
battlefield conditions!
