Author Flushing https entries from engines

Quite awhile ago we stopped using the domain "benefitsonline.ca" and started using "healthquotes.ca". I had a 301 redirect implemented for "http:www.benefitsonline.ca", which is working great.

The problem is that search engines still have https://www.benefitsonline.ca/ entries in them, and I am told by my ISP that they cannot do a 301 redirect for https:www.benefitsonline.ca, it seems like the 301 redirect doesn't cover this situation.

I thinik my only solution to flush those entries from search engines and directories is to park the old domain name, any input is appreciated!!!
