It works fine in FF, but when I look at it in IE, it's... not the
same... at all.

I'm not very good at IE hacks yet. Can someone look at it and tell me
what's going on?

Thanks

Define works. This is Firefox:

The IE problem is that your columns are set too wide. Also, use
HTML 4.01 strict, rather than XHTML.

Well, you have your default text size set way too high. in a perfect
world, I would like to make this compatible for all default font sizes,
but that's just not plausable for this.

Why would I use HTML Transitional?

And I will try to slim down my column size. Thank you

No, I have it at a comfortable size.

Making a page work all sizes over a very wide range is perfectly
feasible.

You shouldn't; I said 4.01 strict.

I would enlarge the gif (using a graphics program) to a size in the
middle of the range of likely window sizes. Then you can let
browsers resize it, and it will still look good.
