I am looking to buy a .net
Anyone know where the cheapest place to buy them (thats quite reasonably
reliable, offers DNS changes etc...)

I don't know if they are the cheapest, but at $8.95 USD Godaddy.com offer
excellent service. I am very pleased with them.
An even better bargain when you take the exchange rate into acocunt.

They also frequently offer specials by email to existing customers, such
as 20% off or $6.95 domain names. I often also see a 30% off offer if
you order something within 30 minutes of placing an order (although you
only see this /after/ placing the order).
