Sorry I wasn't clear. I have a name registered from godaddy. It
redirects to 1and1. But the name doesn't stay domain.com. It changes
to http://s323333930.onlinehome.us/
That is why I wanted to change it.

sure you do. like Bill Gates actually sullies his hands actually doing
mundane stuff like registering domains.
Oh, you're not really Bill Gates? well there's a fcuking surpise. Got
any other hints to your credibility?

ok

well, no it wouldn't - that's what redirects do. they 'redirect' the
visitor to a new URI

no, it doesn't change
> That is why I wanted to change it.
ok - now you know what redirects are, what is it you want to change?

I don't have a godaddy account - nor am I likely to anytime soon.

| That is a problem with "free" hosting. If you want to have your domain name
show up you can do one of two things.
1. Set up an account with another hosting (i.e. you pay for hosting) company
and redirect to the 1and1 account in a frame.
2. Set up with another hosting company (there is that nasty 3 letter word
"pay" again ) and just host your site there.
No matter what you do you will have to pay.
