Hybrid Web/Desktop chat client?
|

| I have a client who wants an application that allows him to chat with the
visitors of his web site online in real time.
The customer would install a program on his computer, pretty much like MSN
Messenger, and the visitor would use the browser window.
I only know LivePerson's software. Is there another system that doesn't
need a central server of a 3rd party? If there is a free solution, that
would be even better :)
