Hello, I am new to this. I would like to to create a flash form (I am
using an old Flash 5) Send the information to the paypal quick button
form through Jave script using the fscommand. i have already made some
reading on the subject but still need some more input.

1. Does IE explorer current versions support using Java Script this
way, I know that there was a problem with it in the past.

2. What is the simplest way to have the user fill only the form in
flash without having to go through the paypal quick button html form
pages at all. How to avoid the html pages from being viewed by the
user.

thanks sincerely,

Roni.

To answer a question with a question, why are you using Flash and
Javascript for this?

Just curious, because to rule out a number of potential customers from
the get-go, there must be a damn good reason for it.

I am going to use Flash for sure that is in the core of this webpage, I
do not know server based programs, what are my other options if I do
not use Java Script?

You're XXXXed then.

If you want to have any chance of getting orders, rewrite your site in
simple HTML.

Why reinvent the wheel? You could just log into your Paypal account, use
the button wizard to write the code, and paste the code where you want the
button on the page.

Hello Lynn - good to see you again.

How's it going with 'You Can Web'?
What happened to Zene and your friend/colleague(?) that was emigrating to
merrie olde englande to follow her dream? did it ever happen for her?

Hey Wm,

Always nice to see you here.

Zene inspired a few similar publications which carved up the already skimpy
local advertising market. It bit the dust last November.

Word is that my erstwhile friend did move to England. I haven't heard from
her, except for two dreams in which she telephoned me, saying something
like, "Hi Squiffy." Did you ever have that pint with her fiance?

YouCanWeb goes dormant when I have other projects on the front burner, but
is revived as needed by a local artisan or small business person.

Cheers,
TL

There's juicier gossip, but I shan't post it here.

It seemed to amuse her, but I didn't get it.

You don't always know the point of making a contact until after you've made
it - sometimes long after. As Vonnegut wrote in "Cat's Cradle", "Peculiar
travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God."

Well - I agree completely, but the contact would have to be via the dear
lady (and I didn't wish to cause any embarassment) as I don't have any
direct details. Perhaps you could forward any you have and I'll drop off
a "how's it going?" mail.

Go on, spill the beans! No-one ever reads this any way.

Crikey Charles, I couldn't even tell you in private. But I will pass on
this simple warning for the girls, please try not confuse bananas and
cucumbers - yes, there really is a difference and no, they are not
completely interchangeable.
