Where to find certain newsfeed information

Hello,
Lets say for example that I would like to create a newsfeed for my site with
a link from yahoo sports. When creating the rss, atom or xlm file they ask
for lots of channel information such as cloud, webmasters name, ratings,
author and pubDate, copyright etc. I know that all this information is
really not needed for creating the feed but, if I wanted it is there some
where on the web that I can just type in the existing feed name or website
and all the information will come out or do I just have to just look for it
on the website.
